NCA Mission Statement: The primary and intentional ministry of NCA Matagalpa is to provide a high quality integral Christian education for the children of Nicaraguan Evangelical Christian families. We seek to equip Nicaraguans for future positions of leadership and to impact their country and the nations for Christ. The program of study follows the Nicaraguan school year calendar and is delivered in Spanish, approved by MINED, with the purpose of preparing students for Latin American universities.

The Nicaragua Christian Academy located in Matagalpa, Nicaragua is a 9 hole course located within the school grounds. Re-designed with the support of SEED Discs, it is a great starter course for the private elementary school. The layout is very beginner friendly, utilizing scattered trees and brings into play some varying terrain with an especially fun big downhill throw.

Around 2010, a mission group from the United States raised funds to install an 18 hole disc golf course mixed with homemade baskets and object targets. The success and growth of the school led to more classroom infrastructure, which meant the course needed a new layout.

It was determined that a 9 hole course consisting of just the homemade baskets in the available green space was going to be a more favorable layout with nice routing flow and mix of throws. This also allows the teachers to be able to watch all the students playing from a central area, ensuring everyone is safe and having a good time. Tee areas were leveled and landscaped with gravel based pads.

NCA Matagalpa hosts open house festivals throughout the year, inviting the community to enjoy in the days special activities and play on the course. This course is perfect for the youth and all beginners, introducing the entire family and friends to disc golf.
